Sam Phillips

Co-founder

Sam is a digital and social media communications specialist with a background in traditional PR. Having started her career in global PR agencies she quickly spotted the opportunity in digital communications and moved in-house to Macmillan Cancer Support, creating and implementing the charity’s first social media strategy and an award-winning online campaign.

From there, Sam moved to Hotwire’s digital and social media agency 33 Digital shortly after it was founded. She secured and led accounts for businesses including Microsoft, Red Bull, Red Bull Media House, BBC, Channel 4, Evernote and WWF. In that time she set up 33ForGood, a series of sell-out social media consultancy events for the charity sector, set up live streamed social media marketing classes with young tech entrepreneurs in Africa and was awarded Microsoft's Innovator Award for her work on flexible working initiative, Anywhere Working.

Sam’s role prior to joining Catch was as Client Services Director at Battenhall, a multi-award winning social media communications agency, overseeing the client base including Nando’s, Pearson, Iceland and Jimmy’s Iced Coffee.

Sam has worked on digital transformation projects for Pearson, Auto Trader and Sage, run data insight and analysis work for the UK’s biggest media companies and brands, built successful online communities from scratch for Microsoft and Premier Inn, run influencer engagement programmes for the likes of Dispatches, Red Bull and Auto Trader, produced video content for Microsoft, Evernote and Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and overseen multiple website and app, build and launches, for businesses such as Nando’s and Premier Inn.

Sam is a longtime supporter and trustee of Child.org, an international children’s charity working to create equal opportunities for children around the world. Hugely passionate about fitness and the impact it has on our physical and mental selves, Sam grams, tweets and posts on the topic and is currently studying for a PT qualification in her free time.

Nicole Green

Co-founder

Nicole is a trained journalist and media relations specialist. She was a founding member of the award-winning campaigns agency Seven Hills and has worked extensively with business leaders and entrepreneurs on profile, thought leadership and campaigns including Sir Richard Branson; the former Global CEO of Havas, David Jones; Paul Lindley, founder of organic baby-food brand Ella’s Kitchen; Thea Green, founder of Nails Inc and Dragons’ Den’s Peter Jones. She ran the global media campaign for international youth organisation One Young World, across events in Zurich, Pittsburgh and Johannesburg, working on social impact issues and with world leaders including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Kofi Annan, Jamie Oliver, Jack Dorsey and Arianna Huffington.

She was part of the team that created StartUp Britain, the UK government’s flagship enterprise campaign and developed major UK entrepreneur events including MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival and Accelerate. She was the PR consultant for entrepreneur membership organisation, The Supper Club and a member of the PR team at Grey London. Prior to this Nicole worked as a journalist and has written across business titles including The Daily Telegraph, City AM, Startups.co.uk and the Guardian.

Nicole is passionate about social enterprise and the positive impact that technology can have on society.

Faye Raincock

Executive Advisor

Faye brings a wealth of experience as a broadcast journalist to advise on media strategy, positioning and influence.

Faye spent over a decade at ITN and ITV News where she edited the daily news programmes as well as leading coverage of two general elections and two Mayoral elections. Her work won a Royal Television Society Award and two consecutive Amnesty International Media Awards.

Susie Pearl

Executive Advisor

Susie steers European-based projects focusing on health, wellness, music, leisure and innovation. Susie has a wealth of experience in the communications industry working with international brands, events and celebrities. Working at MTV Europe heading up large scale pan european and international campaigns before becoming founder and CEO of Kazoo Communications, a top entertainment agency in London. She has worked with brands and personalities including Adidas, Sony, MTV, Madonna and Michael Jackson.

Susie sold Kazoo to Done and Dusted Entertainment Group with offices in London, NY and LA. Now based mainly in Ibiza, Susie acts as a consultant and advisor, working across a number of projects in the health and wellness space.

Stephen Howse

Photographer

Steve works with Catch to deliver beautiful reportage style event shots and striking client portraits. An independent photographer, he has worked with brands including Disney, Barclays, HSBC, o2, Grey Goose, Indigofera, Red Bull and Save The Children. His photography has been featured in Newsweek, The Independent on Sunday, The Sunday Times, Observer Magazine and VICE amongst others.

Luke Murphy-Wearmouth

Creative & Technical Lead

Luke is a rare breed of designer and developer, who has also worked as a marketing, PR and social media comms professional. He works with Catch on projects offering design and development that is both functional and beautiful. He knows exactly what is needed when presented with a brief, and understands the creative and the technical detail in equal parts. He sees every challenge as a problem to be solved with it’s own unique constraints and requirements, resulting in sites and apps that meet client needs.

Luke has designed and developed for brands including Microsoft, Red Bull, O2, Financial Times, Hotels.com, British Council, Cisco, Fujitsu and Mr & Mrs Smith.

Luke also works with us on events management, audio engineering and production.

Tom Wootton

Video production & Film maker

Tom works with Catch to produce inspiring and creative work which covers everything from carefully crafted videos that bring a product story to life to stop motion animations that make complex topics accessible and memorable.

His experience spans consumer and commercial audiences and most recently Tom has developed branded content for the likes of Cos and Boxfresh, Wallpaper* magazine, Rapha and Berghaus. Tom was part of Tim Burton’s animation crew for Frankenweenie and has worked on a selection of Channel 4 programmes such as Best Before, a show where Phil Targett is joined by Mercury-nominated guests as they select their favourite new music.

We have previously worked with Tom on videos for Evernote, Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, Child.org, Cisco and Microsoft.
